I have been trying to figure out a better bike for my wife. The little TW200 was a good starter for her but it is too small and underpowered for any distance riding.
Today, I found a 640 Adventure for sale:
The weight is not too bad at approx 400lbs wet and with 55hp it should have plenty of power. My concern though is that it is going to be way too tall with a seat height of 37" (!) What do you suppose the chances are of lowering it 6"?

Dish out the seat 2", slide the forks up 2" (may need bar risers to get a full 2" and change the bar bend to keep the same grip height), have Todd cut two inches off the suspension f/r, and then install the 2" lower Kouba Link. That's six inches. Drop another half inch or so with a custom set of 19/17" wheels.
Meh, guess I am going to scrap the 640A concept as well. I thought it was a smaller version of mine but it looks to be just as big. If anyone is interested it is listed on Kijiji for $7500. Looks like it is a street queen
