Today I started the work needed to prepare my bike for its trip in May. Before parking it for the winter, I started experiencing misfiring and other electrical problems. Where to start?... scratch head... dig in. I found some wires that were near bare but the culprit I think was ridiculously loose battery terminals. I tightened them up and ran the bike. It seems to be better.
Next item on the bucket list was the rally fan kit which adds a second fan to the radiator on the throttle side. Test run and all good. What a difference in run time with two pulling heat off the radiator.
PS-RagE found a cool under seat storage compartment for the ADV's and added one more in his basket for me! Thanks man.
Today I was able to cut through the tail end and install the aluminum pocket. MMM? survival stuff going here for sure.
That's it for today. Work will continue over the next few weeks as I have a ton of work to complete.
