I have never been a big fan of the ones that come with the bike. I will take what I want out of the bike kit then make my own and wear it around my waist. The best way to know if you have everything you need to to do your work on the bike at home with your tool kit and you will see what you are missing fast. I add and remove items all the time. Don't know if I'll ever have the perfect one.
Just remember to go through your farkles and supplement the kit as required. I'm not sure about KTM, but almost all BMW fasteners are Torx and almost all farkles are hex, so I had to add a few things.
And another tip: Always use that kit when you do repairs. Even though it was designed for your bike, there may be issues. For example, my kit came with a 10mm socket, but that doesn't help when you have a 10mm bolt with a 10mm nut on it. So I had to add a second 10mm socket.
Other than that, the kits are awesome. I've abused mine for the past two years and it's still great.
