I have only ridden it from the dealer to my house. I'm waiting on the skid plate and radiator guards before I give it a good work out. I'm also going to do some work on it while it is clean. Grease the wheel bearings, steering head etc and give it a good once over and see what Mikey's missed. They already over filled it with oil...it also looks like it sat in the crate or a damp warehouse too long since there are a couple of little rust spots. You think they would take better care of an expensive bike.
I can already tell that it has tons more power than the wr250r and weighs much less. Just pushing it around the driveway makes it feel like the 250 is dragging an anchor. But i'll keep ridding the 250 until the bush dries out.
Fuel Injection Tuners for KTM, Husaberg by JD Jetting
Dyno and field tested, the Power Surge 6X fuel injection tuner will allow correction for humidity, temperature, air pressure, along with race fuels and motor modifications. The tuner adjusts in a matter of seconds in 6 zones, including an accelerator pump feature for more throttle snap response. The tuner can add or subtract fuel from the injection system. Conditions like rich or lean running and stalling from flame-out at low revs can be corrected. The Power Surge 6X fuel injection tuner stays mounted on the motorcycle or quad and is easy to understand and adjust.
The Power Surge 6X fuel injection tuner is a next generation performance tuning product for modern electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems. JD Jetting’s testing and research will provide the performance you need.
My as well remove the horn now. Mine came loose and the fender got hung up in it
I was thinking about moving it. They couldn't have put it in a worse place.
I tried out the 13/52 gearing for a short ride yesterday, I wish I had had more time.
1st is similar to 2nd and 3rd on my trials bike.
2nd and 3rd seem to be good for woods riding, I'll know more when I have more than 45 minutes to test them. Front wheel comes up easily in 3rd.
Comfortable highway cruising speed without getting into the revs is about 85 Km/h in 6th. I'm not sure what it would top out at.
Bike really likes to rev but I'll know more once the bush dries out and I can hit some tight trails. I'll probably hit some fast trails this week and see if 13/52 is too low. I never used 6th on the trails anyways so I'm sure it's fine.
